University of Sussex
University of Sussex (薩塞克斯大學) 于1961年創校，是英國20世紀60年代新大學浪潮成立的第一批學校之一，并在1961年8月獲得皇家憲章，成立為大學。在短時間內，校方便因對戰后社會的分析，以及各個學科的創新教學和研究而聞名，研究領域主要劃分為人文科學，社會學，文化研究，科技與科學，以及近年廣受歡迎的媒體與電影科系。從建校至今，學校有3位諾貝爾獎得主。根據「泰晤士報2013年英國116所大學評估」顯示，該校位于第18位；而在2015年的The Complete University Guide則排名21。 另外，其化學系排名全英第一，在科學研究相關的科系裡，有兩位諾貝爾獎得主任教，因此該校的化學系被評為全英最好。
